Prima Medika RSU has carried out an accreditation survey according to the Hospital Accreditation Standards of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia) on Thursday 27-29 October 2022.
This accreditation survey brought in surveyors from the Hospital Accreditation Commission (KARS), namely Dr. Ahmad Bilal, M.Si, FISQua as the Head of the Surveyor Team and Dr. Elly Rosila Wijaya, Sp.KJ, MM as members. The opening ceremony was attended by the Head of Health Services from the Denpasar City Health Office, namely I Wayan Sukrayasa, S.KM, M.Si, Owner's Representatives namely the Board of Commissioners and Director of PT Surya Prima Cipta, Management Board, Accreditation Team, Medical Committee and other Committees as well as Medical Staff Group.
The first day of the online survey, opened with remarks from the Director of Prima Medika General Hospital, Dr. Putu Dian Ekawati, MPH, at the same time presenting the profile of the hospital and its quality improvement and patient safety activities. Followed by interviews with hospital leaders and owners as well as document searches which were divided into two, namely the Management group and the Medical and nursing group by the surveyor team. On the second and third days, an offline search of the service area and hospital facilities was carried out.
The implementation of the Accreditation Survey shows the real commitment of Prima Medika Hospital to improve the culture of safety and quality of patient care, ensure that the service environment is safe and the hospital always strives to reduce risks for patients, visitors and hospital staff.
Thus accreditation is needed as an effective way to evaluate the quality of a house.
